5 Easy Steps to a Custom LinkedIn URL (from desktop browser):

  1. Access Your Profile: Log in to LinkedIn and click on your profile picture in the top right corner.

2. Edit Public Profile: Look for “Edit your custom profile & URL” in the top right and click the “Edit icon” (pencil).

3. Personalize Your URL: In the “Edit your custom URL” box, click the “Edit icon” next to your current URL.

4. Choose Your Custom URL: Use your name (e.g., firstnamelastname, firstname-lastname) or a variation. If unavailable, try adding a middle initial or number.

5. Save Your Changes: Click “Save.”

  1. Tap your profile picture in top left corner
  2. Tap your name to open your profile
  3. Tap three dots next to “Add Section”
  4. Tap “Contact Info”
  5. Tap pencil icon to the top right of “Your Profile”
  6. Tap your Profile URL
  7. Tap the Edit icon next to your URL
  8. Type or edit your new URL in the text box
  9. Tap Save
